Jimmy Valentine, Founder and CEO of Westland Developers, Inc. has been
involved in the Real Estate industry since 1991. He initially started off as a private
investor buying and reselling properties in the Southern California area. He went on
to become an investment consultant with Capital Lending, California Mortgage
Bankers, Hammond Financial and many other private entities. Desiring to own his
own company, Mr. Valentine ventured to work with various contractors, investors
and developers to gain the skills to enable him to negotiate, structure and strategize
various types of real estate projects. Mr. Valentine has a talent to bring people
together from various industries and lifestyles to work toward a common goal in
structuring real estate projects and maximizing the profit. Therefore, gaining the
experience needed to move on to opening Westland Financial Group and Westland
Developers, Inc.
Micky Seward, of Seward Construction has been a licensed contractor since
1968. Seward Construction has experience in many phases of construction and
holds several certificates in the field of development and construction. Micky is at the
top of his game. Seward Construction has partnered with Westland Developers to
maximize their growth in the field of development and custom manufactured homes.
Seward Construction has worked on hundreds of projects; having the capability to
work on streets and roads and working on all phases of inner structure.
Zora Warren is our Senior Loan Coordinator and has been with Westland for
over five years. Zora has the ability to structure residential, commercial and
construction loans. She entered into the corporate world over thirty years ago. The
last ten years has been spent processing and structuring various loans for funding
successfully. Zora has gotten well over four hundred loans funded ranging from
$400k to ten million. Her skills go far beyond California.
Justine Phan joined Westland two and half years ago. She has been a Realtor
for four years. Her talent far exceeds just being a real estate agent. Having the
ability to speak three languages allows her to be able to venture where most agents
can't go. Ms. Phan is aggressive in sales and has the ability to bring various clients
to the table. Justine has assisted Westland to become more effective in their
communications with various clients. Justine successfully ran her own company in
France for many years and has assisted in selling properties in France as well. She
has helped relocate people from France to the US into high end properties. Ms. Phan
is extremely talented and multi-tasking.
Matt Matthews is Westlands' Project Coordinator and has been with Westland
for a little over two years. He understands the business of real estate and
development. Matt has a strong background in management and in all phases of
real estate, including investment sales, site acquisitions, development and
consulting. He is an effective problem solver and negotiator. Matt possesses
excellent communications skills and has the ability of initiating and directing projects.
Mr. Matthews has many years of experience in the insurance industry.
Dara Chay understands the value of team work and honesty. Dara works
closely with Westland to work out any resistance that we encounter with County,
State and Federal agencies. He has been a team player with Westland Developers
since March of 2006. He brought with him, diversified skills with experience in retail,
retail banking, financial analysis including forecasting, budgeting and strategic
planning. Mr. Chay is consistently updating his data with all changes with the City,
County and State in regard to building codes, zoning and environmental issues. He
holds an MBA, a BS in Finance and a BA in Economics. He is a Licensed Real Estate
Broker.
Lynn Ivie has been affiliated with Westland for over ten years. Lynn is an
architect who has designed many homes for remodeling, add-ons, for single family
homes, apartment complexes and townhouses. He has been involved with
commercial designs as well as subdivisions. Mr. Ivie is experienced in all phases of
construction management.
Rita Tambito is Westlands' Office Administrator. She controls the flow of the
office and maintains all of the necessary data and equipment for Westland to
function on a daily basis. Being bilingual, she possesses excellent communication
skills. Rita's organizational skills are exceptional and she is responsible for setting up
all appointments and meetings. Rita interacts with architects, engineers, surveyors,
contractors, electricians and all necessary vendors/personnel from start to
completion of projects. She goes to City or County Offices for all necessary permits
and fees. Ms. Tambito is also a licensed real estate agent.
Westland has been privileged to associate itself with many professionals in the
industry of building, development, engineering, surveying, appraisals, architects,
grading contractors, demolition contractors, carpenters, painters, masonry
contractors, set up crews, electricians, plumbers, HVAC contractors, and last but not
least - landscape architects. Westland has an ongoing relationship with many
sources in the industry.
